Dr. Patrick Fogarty's career as an educator, speaker, and author has focused on the intersection of technology and education. He is the founder of NYSAIC, the New York State Artificial Intelligence Consortium, which brings together dozens of districts to discuss policy, pedagogy, and best practices for integrating AI into education. He is also the author of Going One-to-One: iPads and Mobile Devices in Education. For the last several years, he has served as Director pf Technology and then Assistant to the Superintendent for Technology, Grants, and Data at Jericho, one of the highest-performing public school districts in the United States. Previously, he served as the Instructional Technology coordinatorfor the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens, one of the largest private school districts in the country, and as a central office administrator at several Long Island districts. Since receiving his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Fogarty has focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their potential impacts on literacy in education.
